From today I'm afraid 472 will no longer be formed of S-stock. There are a couple of reasons behind this decision, with the main one being it clashes with the temporary service alterations we still operate. To have operated it as S-stock would mean a further reformation would need to take place, with the possibility of a service and customer delay. I have amended the S-stock workings thread to reflect this change. 462 falls into the "subject to rolling stock and/or train operator availability" disclaimer I'm afraid  |

Another change - also updated in the relevant thread. Train 461 will be formed of S-stock from 1550hrs Ex Neasden Depot tomorrow, Friday 1st July. Train 461 will then run as S-stock throughout each weekday from then on (subject to the usual Ts and Cs ) |

Another addition - Train 451 is now S-stock "booked." Sorry if you've read this also in the Sub-Surface section and in the actual "Workings" thread, but 451 is the first to be substituted for A-stock should insufficient stock be available.

Wasn't 451 the one that was added but then shortly removed as an S?

Indeed it was. It used to be S-stock when passenger operations first began, and was then reverted back to A-stock to enable S-stock operation into the city.

Saw an S stock Amersham fast train yesterday at about 10.30am!

Actually adding to that it seemed that there were alot more S stocks than A stocks running the watford to baker street section yesterday as well
