Ah yes, didn't spot the typo in 21146's post. 19:43 was my reading too quickly.

Not sure what typo you're on about. Suffice to say my info posted will allow readers to ride on the last 67TS, fingers crossed.
Too bad the headboards will refer to "July", not "June", but the thought's there.

Ah - that proves you can never spellcheck your own work visually by the eye on a screen.
Not sure I'll even be able to see, let alone ride on the train, due to work (all my plans were arranged for the Friday) but it's fingers crossed anyway.

So, who's going for the whole trip? (16:52 - 19:43). I'm very tempted to see if I can get part of the afternoon off and do the whole thing. It's 15:52 until 19:32; the 19:43 is the time it stables in the depot, and I don't think we'll be allowed on that part! Interestingly, there is a teachers' strike next Thursday . . . I'll deffinitely be on the very last official trip. Hoping that its 40/41 doing the honors as that is my personal favourite unit, but will be glad to be a passenger on the last 67TS trip whatever the units are

Is July 1 still an actual last day of running, with the same times applying?

On the basis that there are no approvals to run 67TS in traffic hours after 30th June, I would say that next Thursday is highly likely to be the last day. I understand though that one train will be retained at Northumberland Park to help with platform / station / vent shaft materials delivery and removal, plus the other remaining units need to be transferred to Acton Works and other destinations.
Regards,
Dan

Hopefully there will be a good turn-out, to give 1967ts a good send-off. I hope to do at least the final rounder.

Seems like it was only yesterday they were being fitted out at Ruislip depot and then tested on the 'ainault Woodford shuttles. I can still almost smell the newness of them. Sad that I won't be able to bid them farewell

I hope there are some commemorative notices inside the train on the last day, if needbe semi-official as was done for the last unpainted D Stock (hint...hint...).

'Train 272 departs Seven Sisters at 14.17 and then Brixton at 14.48, arriving Seven Sisters at 15.16. It then runs to the depot and reforms to train 247 which does three round trips. These depart Seven Sisters at 15.52, 17.10 and 18.29 and Brixton at 16.25, 17.43 and 19.01. The final trip arrives at Seven Sisters at 19.32.'
Ta se-gen...

I've certainly had similar info from someone on the VLU project; as I'm going to be teaching at that time I'm not too fussed one way or the other!

Would blue tacking a home made poster to a window celebrate the end of 67ts running be classed as vandalism?

Irrational behavior is totally acceptable but please beware - When the 67 stock was introduced the "men" wore white coats, however they received a refurb and now where red, white & blue coats - watch out there coming - Mind the Doors ;D Xerces Fobe

You mean both 247 and 272 will be 67s?

Would blue tacking a home made poster to a window celebrate the end of 67ts running be classed as vandalism? Is it really necessary to have posters stuck all over the train? The traditional mark of respect is a headboard or small sign in the front 'M' door window, I can't see any need for any more than that. (And remember the last 72 stock on the Northern Line went with nothing at all!). I believe there are currently 4x 67 stocks available for service on the Victoria Line.

I wonder if 60+61 will be used on 247, Is a seminar allowed?

I should correct my own errors fully: Train 247 Northumberland Park depot 15:42 (dep) Seven Sisters 15:52Brixton 16:22/16:25 Seven Sisters 16:58//17:10 Brixton 17:40/17:43 Seven Sisters 18:16/18:29 Brixton 18:59/19:01 Seven Sisters 19:32 Northumberland Park depot 19:43 (arr) No 67TS out yesterday PM I should report. It is planned that there will be some form of official headboard each end. I was not suggesting readers of this forum 'vandalise' the cars' interiors, but the 'farewell' notices on the last unpainted D Stock were a nice touch and drew the attention of unknowing passengers to the event. (I also had some printed for the interiors of the last CO/CP Stock.) www.flickr.com/photos/24772733@N05/5805861600/in/set-72157620726375920If I were able to board the train in depot prior to departure PM I would consider doing something, alas work intervenes (for once!) and I might not get to see the train at all on Thursday (except via CCTV).

Just a quick question, will PAX be able to stay on the train for its entire time from start to finish, or will they have to leave at Seven Sisters and re-board the train on the other platform?
