Yes I'm thinking it's 10. Stil waiting for someone to confirm the status of 39+67. There'll no doubt be another one going soon.

A possible explanation from the railtour ticket covering letter? A limited selection of memorabilia is expected to be available for sale on the day, including car numbers from '67 stock trains and a small number of Victoria line station roundels. There was a covering letter with it? I finally received my ticket in the post last night (due to a cockup it ended up in the flats over the road) and it only had the ticket itself and another ticket with my address on and 'General Admission' on it.

I'm looking forward to the tube tour tomorrow. I'll be in car 8.
I won't need to head straight off at the end so would be happy join others in an inn to toast the tour afterwards.

Regarding the tour tomorrow, I should be bringing the train into platform 4 at Seven Sisters at 10.06. Feel free to use flash if you wish, I'll try and bring it in slowly!!

Right, that means I'll know at least one person on the tour ..can't wait! Must remember to touch out my Oyster and then get back in with the tour ticket - don't want any maximum fares

which platform will it pass through at finsbury park? pic or vic? would i have time to photo it at finsbury and jump on a vic line to catch it up at green park? is it going to sit around anywhere between hammersmith and acton town on its way to uxbridge?
Unfortunately, I missed getting on the tour by a day, hadn't come accross this site until it was too late. However, i hope to get some good photos/film of it.

It will pass through the Victoria line platforms as usual as the crossovers are after the southbound and before the northbound platforms.

In the morning when the train arrives at the platform, will the platform be blocked off to non-ticketholders (like they did at Stratford back in 2009)?

Platform 4 is generally for alighting trains only, but I would guess that they will let people on to the platform to take photos regardless if they are travelling or not, they didn't do that at Ealing Broadway with the 38 stock ELL railtour.

Got back a while ago and wanted to say that this was a great day out! Everyone was in good spirits, the staff included, and I heard a few TfL seniors talking at Ealing Broadway how good today had been. The trip ran mostly to time too, only being about 6 or 7 minutes late at worst (apart from at the end where we had a bit of a wait, but most people didn't want it to end! ) Loved looking in the cabs (apart from one man who decided to shout at me for ruining his shot by having a look - which he had a further 20 minutes to take before the train left again, so no rush!) Got myself a line map (which I thought in the train 'that's not very large!' but now when I get it home, hard to find a place to put One of the highlights was looking at the bemused passengers - the people further down the carriage were laughing at people who walked up to the doors despite the 'THIS TRAIN IS NOT IN SERVICE' announcements - and then followed the doors as they moved, and moved, and didn't stop! And I left pretty promptly from the platform, unlike most, and as I was walking over the passageway over platform 4 to get to platform 5 - I looked through the grille on the floor and saw the train departing - which I got a good shot of, without getting in the crowd downstairs!

Shame they got the info wrong on the headboard - the 1967 stock were in service from 1968, not March 1969, which is when the Victoria line was officially opened.
