The full set in Neasden must be 5110 and 5234 if all 4 'in service' sets were out and about

Yes, I rode on the 5119+5063 yesterday. It ran fast to Amersham and back to Aldgate. Heard someone mention it was the last day of service for that unit and it's to be sent to the scrap yard on Monday.

What's the betting that 5119 will be forming 444 on Monday?

What's the betting that 5119 will be forming 444 on Monday? 444 could be 5189+5034 which is also there, or on one of the 10 other workings that leave UXB. Sun 15 Jul: T425 is A 5022+5091, on south end today.

So presumably we've had the last T717 until after the Olympics.
Will post-Olympics disposal arrangements be the same?

5119 is currently on Uxbridges, expecting Train number is 444.
5103+5094 currently working T425, just left Rayners Lane Uxbridge bound.
Time 1340, 16/07/12

Having looked at videos, Friday wasn't a good day for A Stock reliability, 5034 apparently having trouble with motors cutting out, 5094/5103 with sticking door problems. Hopefully today was better.

I'll see if I can upload some (fairly average) photos of them later.

Glad that the 4 units still running. Gives a bit of time to enjoy them and have that one more last ride in an A Stock train. Thanks for the info.

I am on leave in a couple of weeks. Are any of them likely to be running over the Olympic period? I have never been to Watford (MET) so i would like to with a proper train.

That is the aim and desire, yes.
But the four will be kept as "hot spares" and will be used only if necessary apparently. Only one out today so far.

Presumably they won't resume running after the Olympics, other than the heritage tour, and four more scrap runs?

I can tell you that only a couple of the group I was in were 'joyriding' as you might call it. The two people who were messing around are not frequent 'bashers'. Usually we are very calm and conderidate! Also, the poster your female friend was photographing is mine!

Found 21146's photo of 5113 in Acton Works. Headlights are still on. Still on juice then? One of my favourate units. Please look after her guys..... Headlights being on doesn't necessarily mean the train is "on juice", although it this case it looks so.
