At the moment 5000 (and 5232) are not due to leave Neasden until Wednesday 11 April. Thank you for that reganorak. Do you know if that means there will be no scrap train on Wednesday, just tomorrow's?

Only hope it happens after all that - or maybe not in the case of 5000!

T717 (or should I say T474) formed of 5183+5082 arrived in Northwood Engineers' Siding at 1245. 5183 was at the north end.
Interestingly, the train was showing T474 at both ends. Surely it didn't operate during this am's peak!? I also can't recall anyone having noted this formation in passenger service at the end of last week.

Withdrawn 30/3/12 - last day in service, so one of the peaks that day.

As of now, 5000 is showing as being lead car on Train 475, at Eastcote EB.

Oh well, I'll try tomorrow at daybreak. Any plans to commemorate its last run (since it's a significant number)?

I've just passed Northwood in the last few minutes on a Southbound S Stock. 5183 & 6183 remain on LUL metals. the other two south-end carriages from this 4-car formation (6182 / 5182 ? ) were sitting loaded on two Allelys Lorrys looknig very much like they are ready to leave shortly...

Phew, what a day tracking down 5000 and going on it for almost four hours...
So, any confirmation on the very last times for 5000? I may do it one more time.

I hope to be back tomorrow, pre PM rush, and probably its last. It would be ideal to know where it 5000 will first reach Baker Street then, as this is where all trains pass.
Also, is 5000 scheduled for Friday, or that's all?

Well T446 stables in Neasden depot tonight, so let's hope they don't take it out of service tonight.

No 5000 observed in am peak so I will try tonight. I am sure it may be its last day, that's for certain

As I write this 5000 is on its way to Aldgate (currently at Baker St) on train 473. It should then form the 17:03 Aldgate to Watford service. If 5000 remains on train 473 for the rest of the evening then subsequent workings are: 18:12 Watford to Aldgate 19:23 Aldgate to Uxbridge 20:32 Uxbridge to Baker Street 21:22 Baker Street to Watford 22:20 Watford to Baker Street 23:11 Baker Street to Uxbridge 00:02 Uxbridge to Baker Street 00:48 Baker Street to Wembley Park

5000 has now migrated on to train 463, which will be the 18:53 Baker Street to Watford. That train is then booked to stable.

Still on the train, probably likely to be the official last customer of 5000.

So this train is stabling on Road 24 at Watford? It should be in service tomorrow right?

That really is it. The end of the last ever rush hour for 5000! It is a honour to be the last rush hour passenger.
