Delays caused by a faulty train at Euston Square meant that I didn't see 424 at King's Cross from its 16:10 departure from ALD. Saw trains 422, 423 then 415 and then gave up. Of course I know there was no guarantee to see it especially due to the delays today.

410 was an A stock today, although all of the other scheduled off peak workings were S stock. Yes, I've been on T410 each morning from Watford this week and is has been formed of A stock. T432, however, which I have observed a couple of days this week has been formed of S Stock. Separately, T443 was formed of 21023/24 today. I know there was a mention of this set a few days ago on this site but it wasn't clear whether or not the train was actually in passenger service or running empty.

This afternoon/evening the set was in service (just). It had a few problems with the in-cab CCTV but these seemed to straighten themselves out. There does seem to be a very small handful of units whose numbers crop up on "teething-trouble" incidents more than others. This one is one such unit that has featured in one too many conversations...

Yes, unfortunately today it wouldn't go above 27mph and had intermittent door problems. Regrettably this train is getting to be too well known.
I am sure in the fullness of time everything on this unit will be sorted out to bring it in line with the rest.

Can't remember the train it was operating, but I was on 21/22 today on Thursday between Baker Street and Aldgate at around 6ish. It was a pretty slow journey, not sure why. Door problems at Kings X, Farringdon and Barbican.

Today, Saturday!! T432 21007-21008 T440 21022-21023 It's almost as if those I work closely with wait until I say something on here, then contradict me. I get told no S-stocks on weekends until September, I make it knowledge on here, and on the very next weekend they put some out ;D Metman et al, if you pay me, I'll post something to the effect that all A-stocks will be gone by 2015 - and you can rest assured whoever likes to me to get egg on my face will keep one running until after then ;D ;D

21039/40 was T424 yesterday. Yes I was on that too. All off peak scheduled S stock workings were indeed S stock, apart from 411.

I have just updated the S-stock workings thread - 1 extra train booked for weekdays.
There are also weekend workings now (as some of you found last weekend). The plans surrounding them are very fluid, and will change each weekend, especially during engineering works. However, I have included those trains it is hoped will be formed of S-stock this weekend.
Usual disclaimers / egg on face apply ;D

Train 422 was an S Stock today and it terminated at Moorgate, and then went to Uxbridge. This was 21009/10 which I have to say is firstly filthy from the inside, has damaged/dirty floors and there seems to be a squeaking issue as well.

Can anyone confirm if one of the PP S7 trains was running near Croxleyhall yesterday, as I thought I saw one whilst playing cricket?

Sure it wasn't just a normal S8? I would have thought considering the works on the H+C line this weekend it would be stuck over that part of the line...
There were 1 (possibly 2) out this afternoon - saw one going SB past Neasden depot as I was on my way to Wembley Park, so got out to wait for it and one came northbound about 10 minutes afterwards! Either very quick turnaround or there were 2 very close to each other...!
The 'beggars and buskers' announcement was played, which I thought was a mistake until I saw 3 police officers looking around the train when I got off at Ruislip!

T462am/T470pm were formed of 21043/44 today 16/08. That now makes 12 production S8s operated in passenger service.
Was an S8 delivered last week given the fact that an A Stock was lost to scrap on the Monday?

Was an S8 delivered last week given the fact that an A Stock was lost to scrap on the Monday? All the information I've seen suggests that there was no S8 delivery last week... and I believe there isn't one this week, either.

No A stock was withdrawn this week as far as I know. I believe there is a two week break.
