So LOROL are once again playing around with traincrew diagrams! The times i originally gave you were from the four Conductor diagrams that had been sent to me on the Thursday, no doubt these were changed VERY late in the day. Keithy 378 diagrams are for the WLL on a Saturday

Although some class 378/1s will be needed for testing the ELL, most don't have to be delivered before next summer. Isn't the old section scheduled for January opening with it extended to Croydon in June? I thought the Summer 2010 headline was a contingency only. The 'core' section of the ELL is scheduled to open in June 2010, with the extension from Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington due to open in January 2011. Details can be found on: www.lorol.co.uk/pdf/Final%20CS%20Eastlond-line.pdfHope this helps Regards Martin

Me suspects some dodgy dealings going on ;-) I had an instructor pass with me on Sat morning and he had a at least 6 Claphams on his 378 diagram..

I always find National Rail diagrams difficult to follow - why don't they use one train number all day, like on the underground?

378022 Inside Shed OssieRd So Bombardier are building all the 378/0s before most of the 378/1s (136 might have been built before the last 378/0s so testing can start on the ELL on time). You have said that only 5 unsold units can be at Willesden at once. When the 378/1s start to be delivered, will it be only 5 unsold units delivered to LOROL at the same time, or up to 5 unsold 378s at Willesden, and a certain amount of unsold 378/1s at New Cross?

astock5000, All I was told was that only 5 unsold units are allowed to be at Willesden Tmd. I'll ask around the next time I'm in the Tmd...

Do you know which worked the 19:2something from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction? I know it wasn't 016 as I saw that going past us but I didn't make a note of which unit we were on.
TIA
Simon

Reported by Marc Ely on UK Modern group that a 378 move is booked this evening from Derby to New Cross Gate (arr 00:53) More reports now quoting 378001 - how about this one, having presumably completed its test and mileage accumulation running on its previous stay, now being the unit for testing and commissioning the ELL?

If this did happen, does anyone know how it got to New Cross Gate (depot?)? Would it have got on the ELL from the north or from the south - fairly certain it wouldn't have been via platform one at NXG. TIA Simon
