The problem with the Seimens at the moment is that the train gets lost and the onboard PID's stuff up. Like this: PID: Now Approching Hallam Station. Actually Leaving Hallam station. PID: Now approching Sandown Park. Actually approching Springvale. PID: The next station is Merinda Park Actually The Next station is Flinders Street

Puffing Billy, Belgrave Station26NBC sits at the rear of the Gembrook/Lakeside. 10 cars up another Guards compartment(A NBHC) is the end of the Gembrook train. 26NBC is at the rear of the Lakeside. This service is double headed. This mornings one was with 8A and 7A. Looking in the down direction. Where down the platform the cleaners are at work. The old desto indicator. Jumping right ahead to lunch. G42 has shunted and sits awaiting 12:20PM, when the train is due to leave. Todays Lunch special train has a few extra cars(Which one can be seen behind the tender) being transfered to Emerald. Those cars are used mainly on Thomas specials. One of 2 Diesel Locomotives that PB own. Mainly used on Total fireban days. This one was originally from the Tasmainan Government Railways. G42 Again. G42's pistons and rods. G42 and a few more cars on the transfer can be seen. Letting off a bit of steam. G42 Departs with the Lunch train. The Guard looks on at the rear. The cars infront are the lunch carraiges. Back down the platfrom. The Fire Patrol Trolley awaits. The Fire Patrol departs 5 minutes after the train has gone. 1 of 3 key switches for L1379 the signal after the Home that featured earlier. One is located at the end of the platfrom and the other is located at the frame between the Home and L1379. The other Diesel loco that PB have. This one is from the Queensland railways. It was reguaged. Apprantly they are going to get another 2 of these type. Heading back to where it was stabled. It was used so we could put our hand signals to pratical use. Down one of the stabled trains in the carraige yard. 8A stops after running back from Lakeside. The fireman is about to throw the points. Being watered outside the station masters office. Inside the NAC. The Handbrake on the NBD. G42 having arrived back and shunted around gets ready to shunt off into the sidings. Builders Plate. Numberplate The guard giving the shunt signal(rotating around in a horizontaly) The Home at Proceed. The Permissive. The Level crossing indicator is flashing. It tells the driver that everything is working. The crossing can be also activated using a remote control which is used mainly by fire patrol trollies. Push a button and it the crossing activates. Push another and it stops(I got to play with it today. It would be great if you get a car coming ;D ;D )

At Flinders Street the PA speakers are put above the platfrom. It is not uncommon for 2 or 3 trains to arrive at the same time with the announcement being played for that platfrom side. You can hear other platfroms but rather softly. Regardless if the entire station has trains in it or not it's relatively the same.
Southern Cross on the other hand. The bloke who announces the Suburban platfroms does a good job till someone decided to play the announcement for a VLine train.
