The link is that Turnpike Lane, Russell Square and Knightsbridge are all named after the roads which they are near to whereas Tooting Broadway is named after a shopping district.

At least if they give the lines proper names it will get rid of the ‘Goblin’, which I find more annoying than ‘Wimbleware’. Particularly as people so often refer to it as the Goblin line, which yields Gospel Oak to Barking Line line. I wonder how often people refer to the station in SW London as Battersea Power. Or obviously Station Station.

Here's a video of a Class 230 on the Borderlands Line (Wrexham to Bidston).
This does bring an interesting question if the 230s have clearance for the line to Birkenhead and Liverpool Underground both in terms of shape and permission.

Is the link simply they are all Elizabeth Line locations between main termini and the next station. Fifth in the set should probably be between eithers Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow T123, Heathrow T123 + T5 or T123 + T4. Or even between Twyford and Reading.
Is D by Slough?

In my opinion, a missed opportunity for "absolutely braking up the wrong tree" It was Moor Park not Barking........... In that case shouldn't it be "Parking up the wrong tree"?

On a recent trip down the Northern City Line, I noticed a I think the term is a crossover (I'm probably wrong so please correct this) from the northbound track to the southbound track and judging by how shiny it looked, it seemed to be in regular use. It is immediately south of the station, in fact a northbound train was slightly on it. I guess it is mainly used for engineering works but can it be used for other purposes e.g. terminate all trains from Moorgate at Drayton Park for some reason?

If GWR and TfW have bought their 230s, why can't London Northwestern and continue the Marston Vale trains?

I'm pretty sure Highbury and Islington from the Victoria, possibly Paddington from the Bakerloo and Southgate all have stairs between the escalators

Sometimes compass points don't make sense. For example, why is East Dulwich north of North Dulwich?
