I can only hope they used this closure to enable any works that were required as I’d imagine the punters would be mega peeved if there was engineering works not long after the repairs

Hi members. Can anyone help me.
How easy is it to add a zone to an annual travel card. I’ve tried calling, but is this the only way to do it. I’m 2 months in and I’ve moved. How do they work out how much it costs. Can this be done online? Thanks in advance

It’s probably Bruce Grove as Edmonton Green doesn’t have gates like that

This weekend, there will be no Night Tube service across the line on the late night of the 12th/ the early morning of the 13th of October Looks like this has appeared with the kind of haste that is demanded by engineering works, anyone got further details? Thanks in advance, G.Arrow Which line? This thread is in the Northern line section so I guess that’s your answer

There is a thread for the Stratford discussion, so let’s not derail this thread
The line is 3 days old and I’ve used it for the first 2 days, couldn’t this morning as the 0908 was cancelled from Meridian Water.
My observations so far:
The line is well used Stratford to Tottenham Hale and vice versa, a bit more to Northumberland Park and less so to Meridian Water. I did see some punters get on at Tottenham Hale to Meridian Water to go to the Ikea!
I’m terms of service, there is a tight turn around at Meridian Water, so I’ve noticed a lot of delays and late leaving from Meridian Water.
There has been a number of cancellations and short forms over the last few days, mainly because they are using 317s from the reserves
It’s been reported elsewhere that the timetable change to incorporate the new service has meant some of the Broxbourne - Liv St peak services miss out stops such as Waltham Cross.
It’s only the beginning and GA (Greater Anglia) are still learning the ropes, although I was surprised they didn’t do much testing of the new timetable which clearly has lots of issues! I expect changes in the December timetable

What do all the cool kids use nowadays for photo hosting? Obviously Flickr is changing beyond all recognition in a bit to become profitable and even though I’ve got way <1000 photos on there, it doesn’t seem to let me add any more. Can Google services be used which then get given links? Or anything else? Everything I have is in iCloud but that doesn’t seem to like giving easy links for Forum use, they only give URLs which last for 30 days. I have my own webspace but it’s not exactly easy to upload there via a browser either. Sorry to sound like a n00b There is an app called google photos, not used it much, maybe that’d be useful

Can see this thread is on the verge of a drift but actually discussing the numbering of roads is quite interesting. Would people like a separate thread for this or do you think it has already run its course?

At this stage, this is a reminder of the recent update to the FORUM RULES. Without being specific, can all members please familiarise themselves with the below and take note of what it says and what the correct behaviour should be. We don’t want to suspend or ban members for repeated rule breaks, however this is a possible action should they be ignored.
ThanksMembers should be aware that there is a new clause in Section 5 regarding language: (5g) Gender-neutral wording (alternatively known as gender-inclusive language) should be used when talking about people or roles in general, particularly so when the gender of the person is not known. Common examples would be using the term chair in preference to chairman and using neutral gender pronouns such as they in preference to assuming a he or she, e.g. the driver was approaching the terminal station and they came to a gradual halt. As way of background, the Forum felt that it should be in line with many other organisations, including TfL which encourages communication using gender-neutral words to avoid gender bias or assuming gender. There are many reasons for this though it is neatly summed up with guidance published to the EU Parliament: Anyone with any questions should contact an Admin in the first instance.

Greater Anglia confirmed to me today that Friday 17th May will be the last day of operation for services at Angel Road. Meridian Water will open on Monday 20th May with the 3rd track operations beginning 9th September. They have yet to confirm if there is any opening ceremony Further the post above GA (Greater Anglia) confirmed there have been some issues with Meridian Water so the closure has been postponed by one week at present. As the following week it appears the first services from Meridian Water will be from Tuesday 28th May. GA said they are working on creating posters at the stations and will provide staff at Meridian Water pointing them back to Angel Road (that’s a long walk!)
