I know that WTTs carry supplements for soccer games, but are there any special arrangements for extra trains on the Wimbledon branch during the fortnight of the tennis tournament?

The platforms aren't necessarily maintained in a usable state. Stupid, IMHO, but thats what you get for fragmenting the railway, and having excessive layers of red tape. Any talk about re-opening these platforms for regular use, or do the disadvantages outweigh the benefits?

Speaking of Wimblewares on the top end of the Circle, are there any scheduled trains in the early morning from Aldgate to Wimbledon? I noticed one on the TFL departure boards a while back.

I just heard 5104-6104-6105-5105 was going next. I think that was the unit that had "Please Keep Clear of the Doors" in red polka dots back in the 70s

I should be getting some information soon on when the Wimblewares were extended to Aldgate - OK it was only on a Saturday in 1982 - but it will make for some interesting reading, comparing it to the Circle and Met. No 2 services of the era. Wasn't that in 1972?

I still see alot of Eastbounds with destinations of Epping. Loughton, etc, scheduled on the departure boards for Ruislip Gardens and stations east thereof saying these trains are on Road 23. Isn't Road 23 also the connection between the Chiltern mainline and Ruislip Depot?

I have noticed the past few hours on the Central's departure boards @ the TFL website that there are several westbounds heading for Ruislip Gardens; and also some eastbound trains located at Road 23 [at West Ruislip]. Are there trains in the current WTT booked to leave service @ Ruislip Gardens, run through Ruislip depot to reverse at Road 23, then do the reverse action to re-enter service as eastbounds @ Ruislip Gardens? According to the Central WTT's I have, all westbounds leaving service @ Ruislip Gardens run to the depot and are no longer in service.

remember, they cannot run in service as a 3 car unit. I guess that would have kept the 83s from operating on the Waterloo and City?
