The last two Sundays at 830pm London time (230pm here in the Southern US), I have seen departure boards for involved stations (West Ruislip, Ruislip Gardens, South Ruislip, and Northolt) at the TFL website advertise these as one of the next 3 trains. Are these scheduled moves? How would the train terminating at Ruislip Gardens reverse to return westbound? I understand that at Northolt an eastbound train can reverse in the opposite direction in the platform.

Aren't there enough regular bus services in this area to cover the length of this line?

Nice-looking interior. It does tend to resemble the 59/62 stocks rather than the 38.

Does it have to do with the number of weeks the station was closed while it was modernised?

I'm kinda surprised with all the planned changes for the Circle that nobody has suggested anything about doing away with the off-peak Met service between Uxbridge and the City.

Was that train ever taken out of service, having defective brakes? My guess is that once it reversed, it probably only stayed in service until Harrow or Wembley Park.

As long as we don't run to both Watford and the Junction, it shouldn't cause a problem. Why would the Met do that?

Anyone worked out what the warning flag for Leicester Square means on the current map? It's for American tourists, obviously. The text ought to read "Warning: Not Pronounced The Way You Think It Is". I have always pronounced "Leicester" as "Lester"

ruislip, I don't understand. Did you actually see this description on a dot-matrix screen? Or was it on trackernet or something? It was at the TFL's website--their departure boards for Upminster.

why would that appear on the departure boards for Upminster? Doesn't someone know it has been 45 years since the District served Hounslow?

Where it says "Bond Street Station" at the front reminds me alot of the post WWII "British Railways" logo.

I didn't know the door to the driver's cab inside the unreferbed C-stocks was red. I thought it was blue-grey.
