I would imagine so.
Dont forget folks there is the Golders Green depot open day on the 23rd [staff only I am afraid] I might have a spare ticket, [so a non-staff-member can attend]I will put an announcement out nearer the time.
On the 22nd [Friday] there will be exhibitions, along with staff in period dress at Archway, Chalk Farm, Euston, and a few other stations.
I dont know if any souvenirs [posters, mugs etc] will be available. Maybe just for the staff.

Also got my ticket this morning for the 1100 trip Are you going to try and photograph the 1400 trip? I will, though I'm unsure where yet, though I'd like East Finchley for the cheesy 'Archer' shot!

Does anyone know if it would be possible to get hold of a copy of the Special Traffic Notice (or whatever LU calls them) for this train. I would really like to know the timings for the 2nd trip (1400). If I can get them, I will of course share them with my fellow photographers.

is it to late to book yet I should think so, but you won't know unless you try.

Closing date for tickets was the 8th.
Might be a few left, but highly unlikely.

has anyone who has sent off for tickets not received them?
I sent mine off as soon as they were announced and haven't received anything. If I am the only one without them, is there a more direct number than the tube lines 'customer help' number?
thankyou!

I will open my door with extra excitement this evening (It's annoying having to leave before the post arrives). I should also be on the 14:30 trip.

I've still not got mine

Mine was on the door mat when I got back home last night. Given that part of the letter was hand written, and that the stamped addressed envelopes needed to be used, sending out the tickets will be time consuming.

Found out why mine never turned up. My cheque was never received. Even so I've got a ticket for the 14:30 on my doormat this morning. Was hoping for the staff trip but maybe it was full after the kerfuffle. At least I'm on it though.

I think the cheques won't be banked until after the trip, as they say 'no-one will be charged if it doesn't run'.

Also, did anyone on here get a picture of the 38TS on it's test run last Thursday? It went from Acton depot to Ealing Common, then up the Picc to Ruislip and back to Acton. My spy aboard this trip said there were lots of LU staff out with camera phones!

It turned up on my door step with a note saying it couldn't be delivered a couple of days ago!! Quite thankful I write my address on the back of everything I send, otherwise I would of been "in the dark" come the day, and lost a cheque not knowing who had it! Still, I'd love to know why it "couldn't be delivered".

Is there going to be a headboard attached to the 38TS or are they just going to use the destination box.

Happy Birthday to the Hampstead Tube! It was opened 100 years ago today, with the public being admitted free of charge from 13.30.
Here's to the next 100 years!
(Do you think that the Queen will send it a telegram?)
