Answer: Location A: Watford (Met) - car park entrance [Chris M] (click for a larger version) For Location B you have the what, but not the where. This clue may help, if you've not seen it already. (click for a larger version) -----------------------------

With that canopy?
Nope.
You can get a direct train from there to here though.

Yes, platform 1 has a flat canopy, rather than the lovely gable fronted ones on 2 and 3.

Ahhhh, so it does. But the question remains as to where else has that canopy?

I'm not aware of any direct trains from Amersham to Stanmore.

Taking into account all clues given so far, it looks like the only possible choices are Watford and Preston Road. No stations between Finchley Road and Chalfont, nor Croxley as they have either been ruled out or contain an h or a c. I remember Watford has sidings but the wrong sort of canopy and I don't remember there ever being any vegetation at Preston Road. However, during engineering works Met trains will also call at Willesden Green and Neasden so it is possible at certain days of the year to get a direct train from Amersham to either of these two. So based on that logic I would say Neasden

It is shown on a standard tube map as a Metropolitan Line station.
