Since 19:07 [1] on Friday the server that hosts the quiz images has been inaccessible due to problems upstream [2]. Given that it hasn't been fixed in the last 5 hours, the liklihood of it being available before working hours tomorrow at the earliest is rather remote. The images haven't yet been uploaded to the server, so even though I'm pasting the code below they wont magically appear until I spot the server is back and am in a position to upload - I don't know when this will be. I'm about to see if I can upload to a photo-hosting site so you get your can get your fix before then, I'll post a separate message if this works. As a note to the quiz team: I will email the answer file to the tubequiz@gmx.com address. Identify these four stations and the link between them. Station A: (click for a larger version) Station B: (click for a larger version) Station C: (click for a larger version) Station D: (click for a larger version) notes1: I was in the middle of a conversation on the computer society talker, and got cut off in mid reply while educating a fresher about the history of the Great Western franchise. 2: Most likely a routing loop in the Swansea University-controlled network between the computer society's network and the Janet South Wales trunk.

Let's see how you did. Station A is not Hackney Central, the unmodified version may help: (click for a larger version) Station B is the escalators at Bermondsey, points to Progressingnicely (click for a larger version) Station C is not Burnt Oak, have a clue: (click for a larger version) Background C is the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. More points to Progressingnicely (click for a larger version) Station D is the entrance canopy to Kennington station, points to jeebeelodo (and none to me) (click for a larger version) Background to D is Derwentwater. It probably is Catbells in the background, but I concentrated on the foreground, labelling the photo "Canada and Greylag geeese on Derwentwater, viewed from Keswick" (click for a larger version) Link: No guesses, so no clues. All the images today were taken by me.

Shouldn't Station C be points to revupminster for being first to spot it?

South Hampstead was nearer than Tottenham Hale both geographically and modally.

That's moving in the right direction, though at least we're on the right network and have the right number of words.
