Apologies to all of you, but it seems that something has (been) broken in the Swansea University network between the computer society servers (where the pictures are hosted) and the outside world.
I don't know how long this will take to fix, but given that it's after 5pm it might not be until tomorrow. If needs be, then the second part of today's question will run in parallel with tomorrow's single parter.

Part two and the answer are still hidden in the depths of the failed server.
I finish work at 2pm today, so hopefully, unless ChrisM has beaten me to it, I'll get the relevant picture up then.

Oooo. I'll go with West Finchley ;D And you'd be right to do so! My answer sheet says: West Finchley - sign under bridge on northbound platform pointing to supervisors office

Well done! It is West Finchley, specifically the sign under the bridge on northbound platform pointing to supervisors office
This was taken on the 29th of June 2008, the day of the 1938 stock runs. Other forum members were (by chance) also at West Finchley when I was and I believe one of them (Tom?) took a photograph of me taking this photo!
