londonreconnections.blogspot.com/2008/12/mayors-questions-1208-metropolitan-line.htmlThose seats are not 'too cramped', the passengers just spread themselves out, and put bags on the seats. How wide is a 'three seat transverse seat' on A stock, compared to three seats on C stock, where you can't use two seats, as there are armrests. If this is saying that A stock seating is really 2+2, then wouldn't there still be less seats on the S stock? Most just means 'more than half', and it does not say 'in the peaks'. Baker Street - Aldgate isn't that much of the line, and the Circle and Hammersmith & City also run along there.

I had to laugh when I see that, obviously the mayor doesn't travel on the tube. During the peaks, and almost every other time, all 3 spaces are used.
