What are the new speed limits over Gunnersbury Junction? One driver went over the junction a lot faster than 15 today, while three others slowed down in order to pass over it at 15. Does anyone know if the speed was upped due to the massively improved ride?
Also, have the District Line I/Ops and T/Ops been advised of the new fixed-red Limit of Shunt on the e/b at Gunnersbury, GB507?

Was my first trip down to Richmond tonight since the work, and I was wondering about the speed limits myself! Obviously I slowed to 15 just in case, and the 15 limit signs are still in place, so I assume that the limit is not being upped, at least at this time.
I also noticed the new limit of shunt lights at the end of Gunnersbury platform! I can't remember reading in our traffic circular about them, but they're certainly easy to spot! There's no shunt move from the DL back into the eastbound platform anyway. As far as I'm aware, the shunt signal on the up North London Line to shunt back to gunnersbury (GB51) only clears into the westbound platform. The limit of shunt lights are obviously there to prevent a driver incorrectly interpreting a message from the signaller that he needs to reverse back to Richmond for whatever reason. I seem to remember such a thing happening in the past where the driver assumed the signaller meant for him to do a wrong direction move back to Richmond and headed back west on the eastbound line, instead of shunting via the NLL.

If the limit is not upped, then I would be shocked - when that one driver shot over the pointwork the ride was excellent, with almost no signs of overspeed-inducing hunting. The limit of shunt lights are obviously there to prevent a driver incorrectly interpreting a message from the signaller that he needs to reverse back to Richmond for whatever reason. Interesting. Did you notice that GB507 also has a trainstop? I wonder if any of the rear-trips happened on GB507...
