Hello folks, Last year I went to the Canterbury Model Railway Society's annual exhibition, and a couple of peeps were disappointed as they hadn't known about it and would have gone if they'd known. So: 17th and 18th January St Anselm's School, Old Dover Road, C'bury I have no firm plans to go on either day - would anyone like to meet up with me & MRFS? Sadly it doesn't look like Abbey Road will be there. Once MRFS and I get our acts together (get a larger house) we shall be endeavouring to correct this lack of underground activity by completing Hobbs Lane.

Hobbs Lane? Where and when will it be based? I have a master plan to build a layout for some shows but spare time is sadly lacking. A I, you saw a pic of the three reasons why at the Christmas meet!
Does anyone know how many LT based layouts will be at Acton in March? Wild horses won't stop me going to that one! Would anyone have any objection to giving any of my stuff a quick run (assuming I've finished anything by then!)?
The T stock looks fab Metman. Keep up the good work!

Hobbs Lane will be based either on the Piccadilly or the Central. It will be either 1930s or 1960s. We can't decide between us! It's got elements of Drayton Park in it.
All works have ground to a halt due to a) relocation of MRFS to Canterbury and b) lack of space in my (one-bedroom) flat. I'm sure the passengers are steamin' cross ;D

AI, go for the Picc so you can have more rolling stock choices. You can have Standard stock, 1938 stock and 1956 & 59 stock. Go Early 60s!

Drayton Pk is a good idea for a model....open-air,with a very compact depot adjacent. Please keep us posted on progress!
