Didn't it go belly up today? Security alert Victoria - suspended EB & WB Signal Failure Bayswater - Suspended Earls court to Edgware road. Train stuck in the bay at Putney for 25 mins, he then got the route and a signal failure followed after that. Train sat at earls court for 5 mins no relief - blocking back from Hammersmith and at one point the Line Controller ' lost it ' on the radio and had a right go at a driver. After all that I finished only 10 late ;D. makes a change.

Did the driver say anything repeatable back to the Line Controller, or did he just take it ? ;D Sadly we usually can't hear what the drivers are saying, although it is possible to imagine what they are saying judging by the controllers reaction! ;D The District seems to have been tits up almost every day in March! Let's hope April is a bit better!

There were quite a few heated exchanges between the Controller and the Driver, so you can try and imagine what the Driver was saying! But the controller definatly 'Lost It'.
It makes a change to hear the Controller Loose it after all it does go to show he is human like the rest of us.

I was at Wimbledon in the mainline control centre which is opposite the District line platforms as part of my SWT Work Experience. We were then going down to the SWT depot from Wimbledon Park station but when we left the mainline control centre we found ourselves between the empty platforms on one side and a cordon on the other!
