Instead of the dog, racing car, boot, top hat etc., the players would use different stock for each line, the one left over that no-one else wanted would be for the East London Line! ;D ;D ;D And then there would be some berk trying to make a model of it!

Is it a thing that just changes the names of roads/stations, or does it change the board layout. I see no problem with adapting the labels, but adapting the layout of the game.
After all, London is an adaptation of the original Atlantic City one (Mayfair rather than Broadway, etc). Some of the different editions are really rather badly done. Southampton's was created by students at the ex-poly uni (while it was changing). So you have one of the buildings of Southampton Institute as a high value square (it's now called Southampton Solent University) and no mention of the 1952 red brick (well concrete) university. There's lots of silly places on the board that are obscure (though many on the London board are the same, having been created by people from Leeds) and many more obvious choices were overlooked.

I think half the Bakerloo line should be the Old Kent Road bit!

At that scale, the stocks would need to be pretty distinctive to be able to tell them apart. My suggestions for the 12 are
1. Gate stock 2. Standard stock 3. 1938 stock 4. 2009 stock 4. Met steam loco 5. Met electric loco (Sarah Siddons) 6. Battery loco 7. A stock 8. D stock 9. Q stock 10. S stock 11. CSLR electric loco 12. CLR electric loco
Replace the waterworks and electric co with the LTM Covent Garden, and Museum Depot

How about a 'get out of the Waterloo & City Line Free' card?

One of the chance cards should be: Oyster thinks you've made two incomplete journeys. Pay £20

Oystercard computer crashes, receive £10 from each player.
Pay off disappointing manager from America, £1,000,000.
Metronet goes bankrupt, pay £1,000,000 for each station and £2,000,000 for each interchange.
1992 Stock has design faults, pay £10,000,000 or take a chance.

While the theory behind such a game seems logical, there is one major design fault that would make it impractical. How could there be any payouts to players who pass 'Go' if the booking office is closed?

Your train breaks down between stations. Miss a turn.
You pull the PEA handle without reason, pay a £100 fine.
Station closed due to overcrowding, go back three spaces.
Caught drinking alcohol on the tube. Go directly to jail do not pass Go, do not collect £200

R stock for S stock 3. 12 shaft IMR for 2009 stock 4. Lots Road for the LTM
