Talking to a mate of mine who's a t/op on the Northern. He told me something rather interesting. Royal Mail had an Underground Railway! Now Im not sure if ANYONE knows about this. But would like to hear a lot of information on this subject like what stocks where used, route. Only thing i know (i think) and that would be that it used Transmission Based Train Control? or something. Thanks in advance guys!

Railscene Video did a feature on it many years ago filmed by my good friend Andrew Kennedy. It was the ultimate train set!

Got a reply today to my email. They are going to POST my ticket to me! I hope it arrives on Monday, otherwise I will have left for work on Tuesday before it arrives.

I was there, but I didn't see anyone I recognised!
Apparently there are no plans to allow visits to the railway, which is a shame. There are still engineers employed to maintain the system.
