It recreates a warm, cosy feeling, a sense one could literally, doze off just waiting... Notice too the fire buckets slightly off centre right; such things these days need about 23million seals on them, plus a few straptags and not forgetting a cabinet. A very good find.

Brian: Good question. Presumably from its location by the cab it would be for staff as a PNR type thing. The first woman motorman was on the district line, quite a while after this pic is dated, IIRC. Also, I came across another picture of this location in BR days, but the loo had dissapered.
Was there a train crew depot at Moorgate?
