" SSL train 1 ran at speed on the test track for the first time on 22 october 2008. this represents a major milestone for the project, in which all who have been involved can be justifiably proud.
We now have a continuous plan of testing for trains 1 and 2, through to their despatch in january and july next year."
The statement also mentions documentation issues (ie the service, repair, and training, paperwork) and that these must be brought to a close.
It also states they must fully prepare for the series build at the beginning of next year.
Ive seen some shots of the first cars being lowerd down and the complete 8 car outside the shops, it looks stunning.
