Which platform serves the most stations without change?
I seem to recall in the 1980s it was Aldgate East WB -
Aldgate East to Wimbledon/Richmond/Ealing Broadway Aldgate East to Upminster (Sunday mornings) Aldgate East to Hammersmith (Met) Aldgate East to Circle Line IR. (certain workings) Aldgate East to Wembley Park (late night through workings)
Any advance?

Who remembers that wondeful announcement that used to be made many years ago for terminating trains. 'Aldgate East, All Get Aat!'.

How about Kings Cross Met W/B?
All Met destinations, plus Circles plus H&C. Although if you count everything 'turning right' at Baker street as one route, Aldgate East gets more.

Are stations or routes being counted?
Liverpool St (SS) WB will serve more than King's Cross WB (but if you regard KX as one island platform, that will have more)

Liverpool Street wouldn't get any more, given that Kings Cross has the Circle - all the SSL w/b platforms between Great Portland Street and Liverpool Street would have the same 59 stations (counting Paddington as two) - summed as all circle stations, plus H&C west of Edgware Road and Met north of Baker Street

It would be very interesting to see how the location changed decade to decade. For example surely somewhere like Barking in the late 30's would have had a lot of destinations; Wimbledon, Hammersmith Met, Richmond, Hounslow, Ealing, Uxbridge, Ricky, Watford, Stanmore, Oly perhaps?

We do tend to arrange quite regular (I would say more than 5 times a week) stock changeovers for the District line at Edgware Road - generally utilising an inner-rail Circle Line train which would be laid on prior to it's arrival at Kings Cross. So in theory, you could add destinations from Earl's Court to Wimbledon - as passengers would not be required to change trains during the changeover to reach such places. (Cross my palm with paper and I could always look to arrange a few other destinations based on such a stock changeover ;D )
