Approaching Ealing Common on the eastbound
are a series of posts with white squares or
circles painted on to a black background . Could
somebody put this poor Picc driver out of his
misery and explain what they are for?

I also replied ages ago to what this was. It was a sighting test to test the platform clear markers, which were previous to the countdown markers we have now. There is also one at South Ken on the eastbound, but a Picc driver wouldn't see that
