Hopefully I'll be exused for the message that has nothing to do with either LU or DR, but today is a special day

On 15th May 1935, at 7:00AM, a regular service commenced on the first stage of Moscow Metro. At that time, it had only 11 km of track and 13 stations, and served 177 000 passengers daily.

Today Moscow Metro is one of the world's biggest underground railways, with 12 lines, 275 km (170 miles) of track and 170 stations, serving more than 8.5 million passengers daily.
