just had a look at the 6months planned closures and notice that during easter the jubilee line is shut for quite a part of the line according to the closure list this is the work getting done during easter:
Good Friday: FULL LINE CLOSURE
Saturday: FULL LINE CLOSED until 1500hrs Then Closed Waterloo - Stanmore.
Easter Sunday: WATERLOO - STANMORE until 0930am THEN FULL LINE CLOSED (god knows why it ain't just closed all day because will cause grief for the staff as customers will think it is running all day between waterloo - stratford)
Easter Monday: FULL LINE CLOSED
Allot of work if you ask me during this time

Looks like Stanmore platform 3 which will be a new IMR to commision. Also should be some signalling upgrades towards Stratford.

Looks like Stanmore platform 3 which will be a new IMR to commision. Quite likely; the IMR there is 36 shafts - and at a quick count already fairly full and the new points/crossover (60, 61 A/B) are numbered in a distinct new series - I think that the highest number in use at Stanmore (which doesn't necessarily relate to the shaft number) is 45.

The 3rd platform at Stanmore will not be controlled from the IMR, the new seltrac signalling is computer controlled.

The 3rd platform at Stanmore will not be controlled from the IMR, the new seltrac signalling is computer controlled. Confirmed, there is no intention. and AFAIK never has been, to commission Stanmore 3rd platform until J5 [Dollis Hill - Stanmore tbtc]. -- Nick

I also can't fathom out the arrangements for Easter Sunday. For the amount of passengers who will use the line before 09:30 on Easter Sunday, they might as well not bother!

I was trying to work out if there was any reason for it not being shut throughout. Is there something going on at the o2? Like an all night rave... [Nothing on the o2 website though]

Is there perhaps some major roadworks or something that would prevent replacement buses running?
