How many West Bromptons are there? I know there is a District LU station, but i've seen pictures of a mainline West Brompton station. Is it the same station with two different platforms?

Yes, there are two mainline platforms alongside two District platforms.

Just to add to that, the station is managed by LUL - but the mainline platforms remain the responsibility of Silverlink. There is a separate entrance available, though it's normally padlocked shut.

Do South Central (or is it Southern) use it?

Yes they use it - both Southern and Silverlink serve the platforms, but all the signs have Silverlink's logo on them.

I should also add that the NR platforms are fairly recent additions to West Brompton.

There used to be a west brompton station on BR, but that closed some time in the 60's I think. Typical how a station is closed and dismantled, only for it to be rebuilt sometime later. Waste of money...
