A reminds me of Blackhorse Road.
B is somewhere on the West Ruislip branch of the Central Line - Hanger Lane, perhaps, facing the New North main line?
C - not a clue.
D is a really rural station, either on the Epping branch or the Amersham branch.

C = Colindale
I'd say B was on the Met main (Northwood/Northwood Hills?).
I'm intrigued by the upstairs gents' toilets in D (or does that sign ambiguously mean 'round the corner'?

A looks like one of the Bakerloo/LO stations North of Queens Park.
C is either Colindale or Burnt Oak.

Is the odd one out Hendon? Only one that had a signalbox - wasn't it there that the plane crashed onto the track and caused the original box to burn down? In fact, unless my peepers are really playing up, the picture is of the base of the Hendon 'box.

Given that Tom has identified the other answers I might as well say that C is Hendon Central.
You're looking for a link, not an odd one out

Station A: Wembley Central - ticket hall (click for a larger version) Station B: Hangar Lane - eastern bridge <!--no unmodified version, so question picture represented here-->(click for a larger version) Station C: Hendon Central - north end of platforms (click for a larger version) Station D: North Ealing - path to gents loos from ticket hall <!--no unmodified version, so question picture represented here-->(click for a larger version)

No guesses on the link? Your first clue is that it is about links.

That isn't what I'm looking for but keep thinking along the "no direct rail link" lines

Is it that you can't travel directly between any of the stations without changing?

While true that you can't get a direct train between any of the stations, this isn't what I'm looking for.
