I can only agree sadly. I was gutted the Harrow Model Shop shut down-although the LT side of it has now improved under radley models. There is a good shop on the A40 just South of Oxford. Its called Motor Books I think. There's always Modelzone! I buy most bits online.

Model Junction has moved to Slough but definitely is still open to the public. They specialise in North American, but no modeller should be without the Walthers catalogue, if nothing else it shows just how backward the UK equivalent, Peco is. Bachmann used to produce an American bus station which, with a little bit of tweaking, can be adapted to look something like St John's Wood. www.modeljunction.info/estore/about.phpGood shop also in Marlow, but I can't track down a web page.

Think I spotted one in Kings Langley or maybe Apsley the other day... Couldn't comment on what it would be like though...
