The lack of punctuation in that red box implies that it is major escalator works that should avoid changing at Bank!

Indeed!
Typically of me to ask such a question: As London Overground is shown as 100m away, and not a direct interchange, does this mean "Change here for London Overground" is not announced? And surely they should say National Rail services are 100m away as well as they use the same station do they not?

There's the good old BR symbol shown by Shepherd's Bush on the line guide...

At Euston Square they definitely say "change here for London Overground and National Rail services from Euston", so there's no reason for them not to do something similar at other indirect interchanges.

Really? When I have travelled past on the Circle Line, it doesn't actually mention London Overground as I remember distinctly listening out for it.
