Are these the "busiest points on the tube" on the WB which are failing, or another set of points?

Not absolutely sure but I think it was the points at the diverging junction on the eastbound.
I started at about 09:20 and was due to pik up my first train at about 10:15 Earls Cort East. By this time they'd failed again and one train has to be 'wrong roaded' back to Tower Hill, and the service was then suspended between Mansion House and Whitechapel.
Both my trains weren't so much cancelled as disappeared! I ended up doing a ECTW -> OLY -> ECTE and a Wimbo and back. At least i finished on time.
Last thing I heard was that the points were OOC until they could be attended to after the close of traffic.

It apparently all started at 7 oclockish this morn and failed 3 times in the morn, a source was saying that they have to be replaced as a matter of urgency

Well, having spoken to the Barking mobile DMT tonight, it would seem that the points are SERIOUSLY knackered out . There has been no Inner Rail Circle all evening, and some of the delays on the District were awful. Of course, it didn't help having a 30 minute gap on the Eastbound, at the same time as some seriously pi$$ed off West Ham fans were trying to get home ;D

Didn't they also go down in the same spectacular way a couple of months ago? I got out of more work on that first occasion. ;D
