I notice that in ELL line WTT 5 (17/2/98) Canada Water was added to the galley. CULG has an opening date of 19/8/99.
WTT 5 remained in force until 20/5/01 when WTT 6 came into force. Very little change between the two WTTs, apart from an extra ½ second intercalated into occasional Shoreditch-wards trains and generally ½ second removed from southbound trains.
Obviously WTT 5 was compiled with a view to allowing for the addition of the dwell time at Canada Water after opening and WTT 6 was the product of experience with WTT 5 (coupled with removing the 'No Shoreditch' services, but that's another story).
Can anyone remember what happened at Canada Water during period that the station stops there were timetabled, but the station wasn't open? (February 1998 - August 1999). Did trains just crawl through at 5mph non-stopping; or did trains actually stop there but not open the door?
Any memories out there? ;D

I went through Canada Water a couple of times before it opened, and those trains observed the 5mph non-stopping rule.

One thing, just re-reading your original post - Canada Water station opened for East London line services some time before the Jubilee Line Extension did.
Thinking back, I'm sure the station and ELL platforms opened in Summer/Autumn 1998, a few months after the ELL reopened. I went there on the first weekend, and it was like a ghost station!

According to Wikipedia, the ELL platforms opened on 17/9/99, the building having opened on 19/8/99 with JLE trains arriving on 20/11/99.
Thanks for the info. ;D
