I see the above coach is listed as preserved at Acton Works. Does anyone know of its current condition? Thanks.

The one in The Depot? This is a 1904 trailier or driving trailer that was part of the original batch of electric trains that ran on the inner circle and the uxbridge line.

Thanks. All I can see from the pictures I can find is a view of its roof behind other stock. Is it essentially complete?

It was set on fire a while ago before being saved by the LTM. It is not in good condition but it can be restored.

Thanks. All I can see from the pictures I can find is a view of its roof behind other stock. Is it essentially complete? There are some pictures: Underground News Feb 1986 - When at North Woolwich (before being set on fire). It shows the vehicle with its 1904 single block bogies; quite rare as later bogies had double blocks making them much more difficult to reblock. I recall training staff on how to reblock both single and double block bogies fitted to Battery Locos. This was HARD WORK. Sorry, I digress. The same issue of UN has a couple of photos of a 1905 Metropolitan driving trailer car No. 6554 (ex 54) in a very sorry state in Gloucester. The caption suggested was that it was likely to be destroyed. The photos were by the late Bob Greenaway. Another photo of 9486 appears in UN Sep/Oct 1997 on site and damaged and then one in UN Nov 97 of it being loaded before moving to the store at the Ash Grove Garage.

1905 driving trailer was the one at Uxbridge? Does it still exist?
It would be lovely to get a 3 car train of early stock running again! Might have to be a VT stock train in the absence of a saloon motor.
Is there any other saloon stock left?
