Got a look at the most recent moquette for the 96TS (courtesy of YouTube) - MUCH MUCH better than the original! The overall blue is much more compatible with the turquoise than was the first (that had magenta, light grey, black, and some other bits mixed in). It's odd, but if the moquette doesn't fit in with the rest of the car it can be rather unsettling. The 95TS fits perfectly with the plain black and grey. The effect of the original 96 moquette made it look rather like a Hawaiian shirt.
Please excuse if this hasn't been recently fitted - it's just that I hadn't seen it until now.

It has been around for a little while now & it's TubeLines standard moquette so it is also on '73 & '95 Stock.

The absolute worst moquette is the 92 stock: it's dreadful and hasn't worn well at all, a bit like everything else on the 92 stock really @slant40 - do you have the Youtube link for the 96 stock moquette?

Here's the video uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BRcxw89DdHYI did notice the car number - 96649 - this might be one of the new "put-ins" (96049-96249-96449- 96649-96448-96248-96048) - these might have come with the new moquette already fitted. Edit: I have removed the YouTube video clip from this post due to an inappropriate advertisement insert from YouTube, which may cause some offence. Just follow the link to YouTube to the video.

Interesting advert, not exactly suitable for a family forum! Admins? I have removed the you tube link due to an 'inappropriate' advert alongside it.

Aren't there four mark 2 trains? it looks the worst on the 95 stock! black, white, yellow interior with blue seats ugh! yes they needed replacment but they should have replaced it with the old stuff at least it's still in the cab for now... Couldn't they change the interor colour so it is the same as the 96TS?
