Is the Met( and Jubilee) service enhanced like it would be for any other high profile sporting event there? This is the 2nd straight autumn that an American football game will be played there.

Not enhanced as such - drivers cannot work planned overtime - but there will be 'spare trains' that'll be used as required.

What normally happens is that 2 extra trains are used. As an example from TTN 31/08 'Special Arrangements for Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final (Football) at Wembley Stadium (kick off 13.15)' Sunday afternoon, 30th March 2008: WEMBLEY EVENT - RETURN TRAFFIC PERIOD 15.15 - 17.15
During the return traffic period (approximately 15.15 - 17.15), all southbound trains from Uxbridge to Aldgate (6tph) will be revised to run via the fast line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Wembley Park, non-stoppping Northwick Park and Preston Road.
Two additional trains will operate, (providing an additional 2tph), between Wembley Park (empty, ex-Wembley Park Sidings) and Moorgate.
These services will provide 12tph southbound from Wembley Park platform 6 during the return traffic period.
Southbound trains from Watford to Baker Street will continue to operate via the local line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Wembley Park, calling at Northwick Park and Preston Road.
These services will provide 6tph southbound from Wembley park platform 5 during the return traffic period.
In the northbound direction, generally services will operate normally. However, during this period, Amersham services will be diverted to run via Wembley Park (platform 2), then call at all stations to Harrow-on-the-Hill then run fast to Moor Park as booked. This will provide and extra 4tph through platform 2 at Wembley Park. In the case of the NFL game the detail will be pretty much the same, though I guess the Met will be on WTT 325 by then - and if late enough in the year the Leaffall TTN will be in force.

Certainly expected as there is no planned engineering on the Met on 26th October, other than the Uxbridge roof works and TTN 145/08 (Leaffall) will be in operation, from 5th October. No sign of 325 yet.............

Hmmm. Back to the days of V1 with the numbering of D&P92. Or you really prefer V3 and the differences between that and D&P94? Gosh, sobering thought that there's been 325 since the loss of No 3 and No 4 Sections!

TTN 158/08 applies with 2 extra trains as usual 470 & 471 with the return period 2000 - 2200. Both trains shown to run pass to Baker Street then ety via Harrow Siding to Wembley Park and then run pass to Moorgate. 470 then pass to Wembley Park and ety to Neasden and 471 pass to Harrow and ety to Neasden.

Well, the Met. being the Met. ;D has kept the WTT numbering series going from about 1925 - the lowest numbered Met WTT I've ever heard of in the new series is No 8 from 1928. So yes, it is. The District&Piccadilly started again with 1 in 1934, the Picc went its own way again at 1 in 1970 (but the District has kept its series going from then), Northern restarted in about 1952 (having briefly flirted with Morden - Edgware, plus the CSLR and 'ampstid kept their own series, Jubilee/Lakerboo in 1979. What you must remember is that the Met had 4 separate sections, 1 and 2 swapped with the start of the new series. The ELL has hopped in and out of Met timetables with a rather unusual (almost frivolous) abandon - sometimes it was part of No 1 (new) section, sometimes it was on its own. The City Widened Lines were (old series) No 4 section, then generally the CWL on their own, but part of the same global numbering series as the Met. Now, it isn't as simple as whenever a WTT is reissued the numbers go up by 4, not all the sections were reissued at the same time; some of the sections were reissued with an 'A' suffix - particularly if only the Weekday section of the WTT was reissued - but the weekend section remained the same. The internal relationship between the numbering of the Met WTTs is a subject in itself!!!!!!!!
