Modes of travel for quiz

The allowed locations for the quiz broadly represents what is on-topic for this forum and as Croydon Tramlink is not considered on-topic for the forum, I don't consider it part of the quiz. If this changes (although given DD's comments last time it was suggested, I don't foresee this as being likely any time soon) then it will probably become part of the quiz - the quiz locations expanded to take in the DLR and Overground shortly after they became on topic for the forum. A Tramlink location was correctly identified the only time (to date) that it has appeared as a background (see 15th July).

The statistics as of the 24th of September (the last date that is prepared so far, excluding the 10th and 11th, that I still need photos for):



Two stations share the honour of having appeared 11 times since the quiz started on the 1st February 2007, Baker Street and Waterloo. No stations have appeared 10 or 9 times. High Street Kensington and Kings Cross have appeared 8 times, Whitechapel and Watford Met 7 times. 17 locations have appeared 6 times, 15 five times, 25 four times, 35 three times, 73 twice and 96 just once.

The main photographs have been the work of 21 photographers (including myself), while 10 have contributed background photograph, again including myself (this is a different set, some have contributed main photos as well, some haven't).

Including the first quiz picture with a background on the 11th of August 2007 there have been 115 photos used, as backgrounds, insets and answer photos (including the ones of foreign metro stations last month). Only one, a photograph of a bonfire on Swansea beach, has appeared twice (17/09/07 and 03/11/07).
