Any progress on the 1913 DM to go with it? Or am I expecting too much of you!

Yeah, I've been working on that too. The side frames are done, the mouldings are being added to them. Sadly what we really need is a driving trailer car. This will most likely be a 1905 car along with a 1905 motor coach, both with clerestory roofs. Hopefully this will be done by Easter!
These four cars will then form the basis of the saloon stock fleet to form, Circle, V and (using T stock motor cars) VT stock.

By 1905 I presume you mean MET stock and not B stock? Top job by the way. I wish I could date my model to justify them but with the other aspects of Britains railways that I wish to include going for an earlier date would open up a very large can of worms!
Just out of interest, did the three-car set that ended its life on the ELL ever have end doors or was it always as pictured in Brian Hardys 'Underground Train File - Surface Stock 1933-1959' with a front end similar to T stock?

1905 Met saloon stock! Can be fitted with either 150hp BWE equipment or 200hp BTH equipment. The trailer can be made as a trailer or driving trailer.
1925 stock cars? Good question. Having just bought a copy of Snowden's Met Rly stock I can answer that! As we know they were prototypes for the MW/MV stocks. Like the 1921 saloon stock that preceeded them, they had no end doors (unlike the 1904-1913 stock). When all 59 cars of 1921 stock were added to the Circle programme they were modified (which is included in my kit) but, the 1924 driving trailer, continued to work in V stock trains-why it wasn't added to the Circle fleet is anyone's guess. It's inclusion would have meant one less 1905 driving trailer would have been needed!
Anyway, the 1925 motor cars worked with saloon stock trailers until the hustle train motor cars with old 150 BWE equipment were converted to trailers. These 6 coaches were then worked with the two 275hp vickers motor cars and formed the S train! When the P stock came to the Met, all the saloon stock bar that on the Circle service was scrapped, except the three cars you ask about. Because they had avoided the Circle programme they had no end doors, except the cab end of the DT, which no doubt had its driving controls removed.
It is presumed that the 275hp on each car was reduced for the ELL service as they would have seriously shifted!
B,C,D & E stock is available to buy as a kit from MARC models.

Don't tell me that! It's all I can do to siphon the money from the housekeeping budget save the money from what's left over at the end of the month to finish my Q stock set!

Still pre-dates my plans. I am aiming at a time period between 1961 and 1967. Any earlier would mean far to much reliance on kits for the main line stuff I would need. Thankfully, Hornby seem to have been acknowledging the desires of Southern modellers at last. All I need is a 4-SUB and away I go! If only I had the space to do Wimbledon........

So you can use CO/CP stock, Silver R stock and Q stock! How about a 2 or 4EPB?

2 or 4-EPB will still mean a kit! I don't get enough time to finish my LT stuff let alone deviate from RTR on main line models! My set of Q stock may not even make six coaches as LBC Q stock kits (Q27 and Q35) are getting hard to come by and may be extinct by the time I can afford them! I have a Q27 body but I need two Q35 trailers and a Radley Q38 DM to complete the set as a six car. I will hopefully try a set of R stock afterwards but I am talking a long way in the future as funds are limited and Daughters don't get cheaper as they get older..... Neither do Wives!!!!

Yeah, I'll have to look into the Q stock situation. DC kits have stopped selling Q23/Q35 stock, with Q27 motors out of production.
This may not be the end of the Q stock however, if they are finished I may be able to make some new ones, although I HATE making clerestory roofs!

Another treat, the 1913 saloon stock motor is coming along. A pair of photos is shown below. The sides are having the mouldings added which are far more numerous than the 1921 stock. The body sits on my soon to be finished T stock motor coach chasis, which is what the finished model will use anyway. The roof has not be fitted properly because the trailing end needs to have a section cut out for the higher single sliding doors. The roof needs to be tappered at each end too. The finished model will be from the 1935-1950 period ie after the removal of the luggage comp and refurbishment for the Circle service. After a long period of thought, I've decided to use BTH 200 equipment rather than the Westinghouse 200. This means that there is a choice of 10 motor cars (all of the batch were chosen for the Circle duty, making up 5 of the 18 trains). Enjoy i100.photobucket.com/albums/m6/Adthelad/DSCN0721.jpgi100.photobucket.com/albums/m6/Adthelad/DSCN0720.jpg

IT'S ON!! I've just got the ok to produce a kit for the Cravens 1960 tube stock driving motor. It won't be easy to do, but it will be done. It will come as built, hopefully with a separate lighting pod to enable the Cravens Heritage private set or the TRT to be made- no I'm not doing a 1973 trailer!

A while! We are going to use the 59/62 chasis and bogies so that should make it easier. It's not going to be an easy model to make. There are some sharp lines along the cab and body at waist level.
Re the 1973 stock trailer; the problems are metromodels have ceased production of the 67/72 stock for a while and the 73 trailer is longer than the 67/72 stock.
Actually, I have been planning 1967/72 tube stock for a while, so much so that I have produced a partial mock up for a cab and body side. These are not easy to make! None the less, I may, may, look into it later this year
