You're in the right part of the country, but it isn't in Derbyshire.

No.
It's south west of West Burton Power Station, looking south west.

Why am I thinking of Purple for that town? I've got no idea at all. It isn't the colour I associate with Lincoln. Perhaps an easier clue would be that the photograph was taken in a city.

My answer sheet says Burnt Oak - exterior roundel Is that the only roundel that looks like that on the UndergrounD? Looks like the newer font, with the first and last letters superimposed.

There are two things I associate with Lincoln, and being of an impish nature, I cook things twice. ;D I'm utterly lost as to the location, the only location that springs to mind is Durham but that is unlikely, I posit Nottingham as a potential contender. Is that the only roundel that looks like that on the UndergrounD? Looks like the newer font, with the first and last letters superimposed. I don't think it is the newer font, as it looks identical to that sported by No. 34 on the tanks just before scrapping in 1928.

View from Nottingham Castle?
Lincoln -> green -> Robin Hood -> Sheriff of Nottingham (tenuous, but...)

Yes, this is indeed the view from Nottingham Castle, looking down on a house in the Brewhouse Yard area.
