I'm thinking of having a go at building my own tube stock not sure which yet, anyone tell me the best place to buy materials other than the web. The location does not matter as I do a lot of travelling.

There's quite a few kit builds you can buy and assemble yourself, not sure if this is what you mean... But if you wanted to make the things completely from scratch, you'd then need scale drawings of the relevant stock...

Good luck, tube stock is difficult to build. The curves make it quite hard. You need the scale drawings, loads of shots of the stock you want to build and lots of plasticard!

I see lots of ads in the mags and on the web but is there a place which is the best in your opinion.

Yes, I go to a wonderful shop in Leman St (Tower Hill/Aldagte) called 4D models. They have a website!
