Does anyone know of any way, apart from scratch building, of modellling a sleet loco in 'OO' scale? I'm thinking of the tube size ones that were converted from old tube motor coaches one of which is preserved at Acton (ESL107 from memory). I have this thing about trying to model departmental stock!

A long shot I know but does anyone out there have a line drawing of one. Failing that, a line drawing of one of the Central Line DMs that they were converted from. Thanks.

The 1903 stock was: Length per car 45' 6" Width 8' 6"
if that helps! Remember, there were 4 sets of bogies per car-enjoy!

I have a couple of theories on how to solve the four bogie problem. Knowing my luck niether will work. For that reason I intend to build the chassis before the body! All I need are the dimensions to go on and I can risk serious harm to my left index finger from scalpel blades again!

Well, you'll need to scratch build the chasis and use standard stock motor bogies, with standard stock bogies in the middle for de-icing.

Despite the complexity of the chassis I still think that getting the cab roof profile will be the difficult bit! Can't do anything without measurements though so I live i hope. Thanks.
