Can anyone tell us what in the heck has been going on with the Bakerloo since Friday? There have been either suspensions or severe delays since then owing to "emergency engineering" and signal failure. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I'd like to know too.
The Bakerloo Line has been completely shut north of Queens Park for the better part of the last four days yet and the TfL website and information systems are in complete denial about it.
I travelled all the way from Heathrow to Victoria and Victoria Queens Park last night before discovering the line north of Queens Park was suspended. No announcements, nothing on the running information boards, nothing. The line is shut for goodness' sake! The first acknowledgement was today when there was a "part suspended" message followed by "severe delays". Was working reasonably well in this morning's peak, though.
A nice young CSA on the northbound platform at Queens Park last night said it was something to do with a track circuit failure that no-one had been able to fix. They'd better fix it today since the Bakerloo will be one of the few lines operating at all in that area tomorrow...
In the end I walked from Queens Park to Kensal Green because the Overground train was so full that some of us were left on the platform - persumably for another 20-minute wait. The lack of information about this has been truly bizarre.

Look at the London Overground section, Signal failure at Willesden thread, Gappe has provided an informative post.

I have to say the lack of announcements on the LUL section of the line are annoying. Us drivers are doing our best to inform people but there really needs to be more announcements throughout the rest of the combine.
The poor station staff at QP are doing nothing but walking up and down trains to tip out understandably disgruntled customers. I've heard no announcements that the Bakerloo is part suspended and to cap it all the LOROL announcements are stating there is a good service! OK, LOROL are running fine but with a combined line such as this it's a bit dishonest to state good service when there is such a huge disruption!!!
I think I'm going to start tipping out at Baker St and tell them all to run up the Jub/Met.
*grumpy*

...and it is much appreciated.
The young man doing the tipping out on the northbound platform at about 10pm last night was very nice and helpful but obviously fed up with having to tell people what should be common knowledge.
And you're right, both Overground and Bakerloo were being described as "good service" ...not when it is half-shut it isn't!
