Hi all, Can someone tell me exactly where the new westbound platform at Stratford will be. Thanks Uzair Basically the building built as part of the JLE there is glass looking towards the National Rail/Central platforms. The glass there is going to be removed and you will be able to walk onto the Central line. This is make it easiler to get to the Central line from the DLR (step free), Jubilee and street level heading into Central London. Tho the main reason its been funded is to help get Olympic crowds away from the station.

It'll serve the same track as the existing platform, so it'll be immediately opposite it between the track and the station building, with access from the building's mezzanine.

Does that mean that doors will open on both sides or will we loose the cross platform interchange from National Rail?

It's being built at the moment. I'll try and remember to take pictures when I'm next there (tomorrow possibly)

The foundations are half built now. They have stopped working on it lately as they have been busy getting ready for the new access road it seems. Plus the Jubilee has had all the closures lately (to NOG).
On a seperate note theres alot of work around the station at the moment with new new taxi rank/replacement bus stop finished and the old one closing this weekend. Areas next to both underpasses have been boarded off (for the DLR works?) along with the displays for Art on the Underground (great idea to do that why they do some much work). Looks like the new Overground platforms are ready with the finishing touches on the bridge over the tracks being completed.

Where's the new taxi rank and bus stop at Stratford going to be? I haven't been outside the station there for a while. Hopefully it won't be cramped as the old area as it was a nightmare for Rail Replacement and National Expresses trying to turn in it.
