I know the first C stock for the H&C debuted in 1970, with the first C stock train on the Circle a year later. When was the last service on the Circle/H&C worked with the "Metadyne" stock?

The Last COP ran on 31st March 1981. But wasn't that on the District line, not the Circle or H&C?

The last C69 arrived at Ruislip in September 1971 - the first transfers of COP to the District were in 1970 - that's all I can find in Steam to Silver (1983) and 'The Circle Line' (Croome)

I've got a copy of Underground Uncovered by Jim Blake: an A4 sized booklet style document that records 40 years of his underground photography.
In it he has two images of CO cars still running along the north side of the Circle/Hammersmith & City at Barbican and Paddington (possibly on what is now Hammersmith & City line services) - the photos are dated 26 September 1971
If I'm correct I think that COP stock did do Sunday Circle line services well into the 1970's (the District supplied two train in each direction to complement C-stock services according to The COP Stock Story by Piers Connor - can anyone advise of when this ceased??
Also COP stock was used on Edgware Road - Wimbledon services, with the final service running on 26 October 1980 - Underground News (551) inside cover (top) features a photo recording the event which was as a result of engineering work (COP stock use had ended two years previous when the last of the C77 unit had been delivered)
