The lighthouse looks like it could be Dunnet Head.

Lighthouse is definitely Dunnet Head, most northerly point on the British mainland, and an extremely beautiful place to visit by an "interesting" twisty road.
Edit: Random thought, don't suppose the other picture is a building at the most southerly point of the British mainland is it? The Lizard

Shepherds Bush Central + 2 +3, the tiles, the roundel and the portals are a dead giveaway! Haven't a clue about the non-LU bits!

In like a flash on PM was pgb, who correctly spotted Shepherds Bush Central Line, view from The East End of the platform. Inset 1:Dunnet Head, most northerly point on the British mainland. Inset 2: As yet unidentified *Click any image for a larger version*

The Pharos at Dover Castle, knew I recognised it as somewhere in Kent
