So on TfL today they are announcing big works on TCR to build in Crossrail and a new station. Already lots happening on that crossroads. Does anyone know how much of a trial the kings-cross northern ticket hall project was for this new project? I take it lots of technology and processes were tried out for boring new tunnels that close to existing infrastructure. We've all seen the stability monitoring and safety devices put in place at Kings Cross for the new deep works. Can anyone elabourate on the level of safety they will have to put in place at TCR to keep it running whilst they build a new station? Edit by Colin: There is already a thread on the subject of Tottenham Court Road & Crossrail - I will move this post there and lock this thread to prevent confusion.
