At work I got told recently that the Victoria Line revering sidings at Brixton got flooded once in the early 1980s during a heavy downpour when a drain connecting to the River Effra got blocked. Although all the passengers noticed at Brixton station was a small stream of water flowing into the four foot.
Is this true? Im just trying to research the story but online there is no information.
