just to say thanx to the driver we had this weekend. we were going to canning town and he kindly told us that we were better off getting off at canary wharf and using the DLR instead of the replacement bus. he also left someones girlfriend on the platform at st johns wood. he had a whole conversation over the PA to her partner contemplating whether to let her on or not. funny guy

I wonder if this is the same Jubilee driver who was recorded a few years ago........it was quite amusing. It sounds like a nice change, the Jubilee is usually a very serious, intense line and this sounds like a good thing!

It was not the Ironing Board man as he is no longer driving on the Jubilee Line.

He did an announcement, was quite funny, included talking about a bloke on the train with an ironing board. Was on Youtube, but now gone.

It was not the Ironing Board man as he is no longer driving on the Jubilee Line. Indeed.......that's the chap I meant! There are some quite funny drivers on the Central Line....but I suppose they get more time to be creative ;D

i always remember this really nice driver on the jubilee, when i worked at westminster when we done SATS, if you was standing talking to a customer and he had a clear platform he used to sit and wait for you to do a pa and raise the bat then used to say "Thank you mind the doors" always made me smile.
