Will this ever be a possibility?

I don't think it was ever seriously considered by LU, but there are certainly those that want it: www.alwaystouchout.com/project/88Costs would seem to outweigh benefits.

There was a serious look by LT as it was the original staff platform area which was considered with a small booking office the main problem was having no codes so that the trains speed would be very slow once the codes ceased.

Well, presumably LT could have installed code equipment, but a one-station branch is hardly a good idea.

Acton Toon - South Acton, Holborn - Aldwych also, Chalfont - Chesham are also all one station stops, or were where relavant! Failing the completion of this project, what is the nearest National Rail station... Angel Road? Which, IIRC, has Peak Hour Only services!!!

Can you argue that Olympia is a successful one-station branch? Likewise Shoreditch [was]? Both had twin tracks leading to or coming from a single line and single platform. Also, New Cross and New Cross Gate were single platforms served by single lines off a twin-track branch.
I seem to recall that when Northumberland Park was conceived that a link into British Rail was discussed in order to deliver the new stock directly. I don't know if my memory is playing tricks or not though! I cannot recall whether there was any proposal to have a joint BR/LU station.

There is also the fact that trains would have served Northumberland Park irregardless of the status of a passenger station at the site, as the trains that do run there serve as staff trains for the depot. The other single-platform branches mentioned above don't (or didn't) get a train service unless needed.

I guess New Cross and New Cross Gate count as successful one station branches. And Heathrow T5?

Bearing in mind the unusual series of IMR codes for the Victoria - VP (Walthamstow) to VE (Brixton); I've always thought that VD would have been for Streatham or Norbury, VC for somewhere South Croydonish, VB/VA for Coulsdon/Sanderstead and the gap of VM at the top end with VL being Seven Sisters, VN for Northumberland Park.
I've often wondered what VM would have been used for - would it be for an IMR at the far end of Northumberland Park controlling a putative station? We may never know.

I drive past this depot regularly now. It's the oddest thing to see trains that spend their entire service life below ground up on the surface.

Perhaps VM was for Wood St? not seen anything in print to confirm though.

Well, presumably LT could have installed code equipment, but a one-station branch is hardly a good idea. Mill Hill East? I would suggest that this proves my point. If through trains are run from Camden Town to MHE, the Barnet line gets an irregular frequency. But a FinCen-MHE shuttle would hardly be an efficient use of resources. It's probably also relevant that the South Acton, Aldwych, and Ongar appendages have all been lopped off.

LUL did look into it but National Rail need the space where the station would have stood for their own upgrade plans (4 tracking the lea valley lines) so it is not possible now. Also not all train which terminate at Seven Sisters continue to the deport and LUL just dont want to spend money

AIUI there was a temporary connection when the Victoria Line was being built, for the (then new) 1967 stock to be delivered direct. That's correct - the link had to be removed as soon as delivery of the stock was finished, because it left a gap in the flood prevention banking around the depot.
